The 39th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy will take place in Cleveland, Ohio, July 28th through August 2nd at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown hotel.
This will be my 12th conference and I’m excited to be presenting: Latvian Family Research: Starting, Searching, Stumbling, Succeeding on Tuesday, July 30 -4:45 PM – 6:00 PM.
In addition to my presentation there will also be meetings of special Latvian interest: the Jewishgen Latvia SIG Meeting on Monday, July 29 at 9:15 AM, and From Liepaja to Latgale – Beginning Latvian Jewish Research, on Tuesday, July 30 at 9:15 AM by Marion Werle.
The following day at 9.15 AM Amy Wachs will present: Our Eastern European Roots: We Are What Our Ancestors Ate.
The conference is hosted by the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS), an umbrella organization of more than 80 Jewish genealogical organizations worldwide.
I greatly value the knowledge I have gained and relationships created from attending the IAJGS conferences.
